What happens in my first appointment?
During your first appointment we’ll spend an additional 15 mins together to complete an initial consultation which will help me to get a good understanding of your needs and how best massage treatment can help you. This is complementary, there is no additional charge.
If you have booked a sports massage please wear sports shorts / sports bra or vest, or similar, these will help during your postural assessment.
How do I pay?
You can pay by cash or bank transfer at the time of your appointment, details provided on the day of your treatment.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel an appointment?
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment please give at least 24hrs notice. If you cancel or change with less than 24hrs notice I kindly ask that you honour the time I had set aside for your treatment and pay the full fee.
Are you qualified and insured?
I am an iTEC qualified Level 4 Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist. I trained at Wilbury School of Massage, graduating from the Diploma course with Distinction and I am fully insured.
What’s your covid policy?
One of the basic foundations in training as a therapist is the practice of infection control. Covid amplified the need for this and during my training I completed and passed a iTEC accredited exam in Infection Prevention (COVID-19). The government has now removed special measures relating to covid infection control within massage practice. As a conscientious therapist dedicated to my clients' health and wellbeing I always ensure good practice when it comes to hygiene and infection control.
If you are feeling at all ill, with cold and flu symptoms, have a temperature or a tummy bug, please do not attend and contact me to reschedule your appointment. No charge will be made to do this.
Where are you based?
I work from two treatment spaces both in Hove,
Grey Door Therapy Clinic on Blanchington Road
and my treatment space on Wilbury Road.
Full address will be given at time of booking.
Is there parking?
There is pay and display on street parking. I'm in Zone N if you have a local parking permit.
