Introduction to Sarga Bodywork

A half-day workshop for massage therapists · South West London

Sunday 29 November 2026 · 12pm – 4pm · Salt Studios, Richmond

What if you could work deeply… without asking your hands to do all the work?

If you’re a massage therapist or bodyworker who loves deep, effective work but is conscious of the strain it can place on your hands, wrists and body, come and experience a completely different way of working.

Sarga Bodywork® is a barefoot myofascial technique that uses the feet, bodyweight and supportive silks to create slow, broad, deeply connected work through the fascia. It feels completely different, both for you and for your client.

This relaxed, hands-on afternoon is a chance to learn something new, get curious and feel what Sarga is like for yourself.

Helen Jamieson, Kind Hands Massage

I’m a certified Sarga Bodywork® practitioner and instructor with a private practice in Hove, where I also teach in-person Sarga 101 training. I trained with Daniel Tsukayama, one of the co-founders of Sarga Bodywork®, and I’m passionate about sharing this unique barefoot massage modality with fellow practitioners around the UK.

Rebecca, The Skin Sculptress

I’m a face and body practitioner with over 30 years industry experience and I run a private practice in Richmond and Broadstairs. My work brings together skin, fascia and therapeutic touch. I’ll be sharing my experience of introducing barefoot bodywork into my practice—what drew me to it, what I’ve learnt and how it sits alongside my treatments. As co-host, I’ll bring a practitioner’s perspective, help with demonstrations and be there for honest conversations about exploring a new way of working.
